Chinese herbal medicine leads the way in personalised medicine for Long Covid Syndrome
Eminent researchers in the USA are leading the way with their pioneering observational study of patients who are recovering from the long term effects of Covid 19 (Taylor-Swanson et al, 2022). Although this ongoing study is naturally in its infancy, early indications show enormous potential for Chinese herbal medicine in reducing symptoms of Long Covid. The findings are already impressive, with 49 of 57 patients sufficiently improved to no longer require any intervention. A further 3 of the 57 participants continue to receive Chinese herbal medicine treatment as their recovery progresses.
